When a person chooses to listen to different perspectives and better understand the one whom they are communicating with, God can use this awareness to help us build a bridge with the people around us. Who is God challenging you to be patient with and “look beneath the surface” as John 7:24 puts it? What questions can you ask to better understand what this person has been through and why they choose to see things the way that they do? How is God leading you to meet this person right where they are at this moment, embracing them in the ways that He would want you to accept them? Isn’t it ironic that even though our perspectives may be different from God’s, He chooses to embrace us right where we are?     We do not own the rights to music or video content used in our services.
