Today is the last of a three-part series that brings us to the people of Pergamum or a place that is located in modern day Turkey.
Jesus reserved some pretty harsh words for the church in Pergamum. Why? What were they doing? How did their culture mirror the values of our culture today?
God is love. And God is truth. Somewhere in the intersection between truth and love is the tension that we must attempt to figure out if we are going to, first, pursue God with all of our hearts, before we begin to pursue intimacy with someone else.
